The Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division (MBD) is the first enterprise unit inside GS for direct company, actual property and infrastructure investing by Goldman Sachs. MBD works intently with different areas of Goldman Sachs in sourcing, evaluating and structuring funding alternatives and as soon as made, in monitoring, advising, hedging and harvesting the investments. MBD is among the largest managers of personal capital globally.

As well as the person will cowl different principalling desks of GS, together with principal strategic investing in addition to GS strategic transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advising bankers on structuring, execution and negotiation of deal documentation, diligence, compliance, regulatory filings and reputational points


• Liaising intently with portfolio corporations relating to authorized, regulatory, compliance and reputational points


• Working with investor relations group on fund formation and investor communications


• Instructing/working with/managing exterior counsel

Primary Qualifications • 7+ years’ submit qualification expertise required in a number one regulation agency or monetary establishment

• Fund formation / asset management expertise


• Transaction expertise in mergers and acquisitions and/or personal fairness is a plus


• Workforce participant with inherent business judgment and the power to reply and be versatile to shopper calls for, while adhering to agency insurance policies and group practices
