This position engages in a variety of complex accounting clerical duties using automated systems; reviews, verifies, balances, audits, reconciles, and analyzes complex fiscal transactions; prepares a variety of fiscal summaries and performs remittance processing activities.
Knowledge of: Governmental accounting practices and procedures; remittance processing practices and procedures; financial records maintenance; personal computers and software; customer service techniques.
Skill in: Researching, analyzing, and interpreting financial data; using spreadsheets; organizing and prioritizing work assignments; verbal and written communications; problem solving.
Ability to: Learn and adhere to department policies, procedures, and regulations; adapt to changing priorities; focus on repetitive task; establish and maintain good working relationships with other personnel.
