The
HR Business Partner
Aligns business objectives with employees and
management. Provides advisory and consulting support in functional area of
Human Resources to staff and management on a range of human resources issues, which
may include recruitment and employment, HR records, employee relations,
compensation, benefits administration, organization development and
training.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Contributes to the planning, development, implementation, execution and communication of enterprise-scale HR initiatives and projects in support of HR strategic objectives.
Evaluates the effectiveness of HR initiatives and makes recommendations for improvement.
Serves as the HR interface and subject matter expert to the business units up through executive leadership.
Plans, develops, evaluates, implements and executes projects/initiatives for assigned business units.
Consults and collaborates with all levels of management to identify HR issues of concern and develops an understanding of the organizational environment, objectives and desired outcomes; performs research and complex analysis; provides direction and expertise to enable leaders to manage business and enterprise change events.
Works and communicates effectively across HR disciplines and business units as initiatives or circumstances require.
Develops, reviews, and revises policies and procedures for multiple processes; provides advice and counsel to managers and staff regarding HR services, practices, policies and procedures.
Provides training to leadership and employees on HR related topics.
Stays abreast of latest technologies and methodologies to support best practices.
Mentors and trains other team members.
Manages vendor relationships.
Qualifications
:
Required Skills:
Possesses and applies expert knowledge of the fundamentals, concepts, practices and procedures of assigned HR functional area.
Strong analytical skills to assess critical skills and information and formulate solutions to complex human resources and business-related issues.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, fluently in English.
Ability to be careful and thorough about detail.
Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
Ability to present to both small and large audiences.
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Excellent relationship building and customer relation skills.
Moderate level of travel may be required.
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required, MBA preferred
If applicable, certification in HR discipline is desired (PHR, SPHR, CCP)
10+ years related work experience
