Currently seeking a Director of Case Management i n the Silicon Valley area of CA. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in case management in an acute care facility. Offering Relocation Assistance Responsibilities of the Director of Case Management: The Case Management Services Director is a Registered Nurse who participates as an active administrative member of the Nursing Management Team. The Case Management Services Director assumes 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients on all units/departments. Principle responsibilities include strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation and implementation, budget and resource management, cost control, contract compliance, quality improvement, utilization management, denials management and management of relationships with post-acute healthcare providers. Requirements of the Director of Case Management: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN Required Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role in an acute care hospital preferred Demonstrated experience in leadership/management and establishing interpersonal relationships necessary to promote an effective working.
